In 2010, the Shanghai World Expo was held, where artists and architects from all over the world converged
in Shanghai to create a dazzling spectacle of global culture and creativity. Sadly, after the curtain fell
on the World Expo, most of the pavilions in the Shanghai World Expo Park were torn down.
I was only a child then, and I never got to see that World Expo, which was the greatest sorrow of my
childhood.
Ever since I first touched the sandbox game Minecraft in 2012, I have been wandering in the Minecraft
world for more than a decade. I was captivated by the game mechanics of Minecraft, which gave me the
freedom to build anything I wanted in the Minecraft world. Whether it was Chinese traditional architecture
or modern architecture, I had designed and built countless buildings in Minecraft.
Now, I decided to make my childhood dream come true, and rebuild the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Park in the Minecraft world.
Bulid entire 2010 Shanghai Expo Park in Minecraft.

"An exhibition is a display which, whatever its title, has as its principal purpose the education
of the public: it may exhibit the means at man’s disposal for meeting the needs of civilization, or
demonstrate the progress achieved in one or more branches of human endeavour, or show prospects for the
future."
1928 Paris Convention, Article 1
A World Expo, is a large global exhibition designed to showcase the achievements of nations. These
exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period
of time.
Expo 2010, officially the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, was held on both banks of the Huangpu River in
Shanghai, China, from 1 May to 31 October 2010. With the theme of "Better City, Better Life",
participants of Expo Shanghai 2010 displayed urban civilization to the full extent, exchanged their
experiences of urban development, disseminated advanced notions on cities and explored new approaches to
human habitat, lifestyle and working conditions in the new century. In this way, they vividly demonstrated
how to create an eco-friendly society and maintain a sustainable development of human beings.
So far, the EXPO 2010 has been the most participated, and most visited World Expo in history.
